Rend lake has a beautiful marina where you can rent a boat and go fishing for the day. Rend lake also has a area for hunting during the hunting season. Rend lake is a 19,000 acre state park that is full of things to do. Rend lake also has a championship golf course. The Benton Best Holiday Trav L Park is a perfect vacation destination because it is so close to so many things. There are many restaurants and a super Walmart center that is just five minutes away. This is the highest rated park in Illinois. This campground is best campground I have ever visited in the state of Illinois. I have visited many campgrounds in Illinois and this park was the best. This campground is open year round. This campground has big rig sites, 50 amp service, cable television with up to seventy channels, and wife internet.
